Product Description
Place value perfection! Create clever connections with the Number Partitioning Domino Links from Hope Education.
This marvellous Maths resource is ideal for strengthening children’s understanding of place value within 100.
This pack of Number Partitioning Domino Links is complete with 28 dazzling dominoes, each of which displays a numerical, written or pictorial representation of a whole or partitioned number up to 100. Pupils simply need to put their thinking caps on and join the dominoes together, for instance connecting ‘55’ to the picture of 5 ten sticks and 5 ones or linking ‘38’ to ‘3 tens 8 units’. This resource is fantastic for individual, pair-based or small group activities, helping to develop mathematic fluency whilst encouraging pupils to work independently.
What’s in the Box?
- 28 x place value dominoes (including numerical, written and pictorial representations of whole and partitioned two-digit numbers)
- Adaptable for learning across Key Stage 1 and for different types of activities within your classroom. Pupils can use this resource individually or collaboratively.
- A great way to build early independent learning skills, supporting children to apply what they have been taught in a new context.
- Number Partitioning Domino Links can be used as often as you like, eliminating the need to copy or laminate resources and saving your precious teacher time!
- Use to support children’s understanding of the place value of each digit in a two-digit number (tens and ones/units) in Year 2 Maths. These dominoes will work brilliantly to consolidate this concept.
- A great way to make links to other place value related objectives throughout Year 2, for instance comparing and ordering numbers up to 100.
- A brilliant addition to continuous provision or as a ‘fast finisher’ activity to extend learning, particularly amongst pupils who require additional challenge in Year 1.
